Rohit Shetty reveals how Ajay Devgn starrer Singham Again was shot to stay true to Ramayan

Bajirao Singham is back, and this time he’s bringing even more action-packed thrills in Singham Again. To raise the excitement, film’s director Rohit Shetty and superstar Ajay Devgn graced a special fan screening of Singham 2011 where the duo interacted with fans and shared exciting updates about Singham Again.

During the event, the filmmaker mentioned that he shot some scenes in the real locations of Ramayana. To stay true to the story, Shetty feels that it is the unique point of the movie. Rohit Shetty said, “We travelled all the way from Maharashtra to Sri Lanka. The locations are all places where the incidents have happened. Many of us know the story but not the actual location where it happened. So that is the unique point in this film.“

Rohit Shetty’s upcoming movie in his cop multiverse, Singham Again’s first song Jai Bajrangbali released recently, and it is inspired by Hanuman Chalisa. Composed by Thaman S and lyrics by Swanand Kirkire, the song features Ajay Devgn as the leading character, with Ranveer Singh And Tiger Shroff as his trusted associates.

Singham Again is slated to hit the theatres on November 1, 2024. One of the most anticipated movies of the year, Singham Again merges all the characters from Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. Besides Ajay, Ranveer and Tiger, the movie also features Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor, among others. Singham Again is clashing with Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at the box office, which boasts a stellar cast of Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit and Rajpal Yadav, among others.
